Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide information about the World Cultural Heritage and conservation policies, to explain the criteria for the preparation of World Cultural Heritage lists, to identify problems with a global perspective, and to provide solutions

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will have detailed knowledge of World Cultural Heritage
2   Students will be able to discuss the adequacy of international policies for the protection of Cultural Heritage
3   Students will be able to define global issues related to Cultural Heritage and to offer solution proposals
4   Students will have the opportunity to define and evaluate the selection criteria of the Heritage List and the heritage that is accepted under threat
