Course Objective

The aim of the course is to explain how enlightenment occurs in the world and to put forward the work done from 15th to 20th century in the field of enlightenment and modernization in Türkiye and to reveal the factors that make up Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's thought structure.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. To introduce the studies in the field of Enlightenment to the Republican generation and to teach the concepts related to Enlightenment.
2   2. Enlightenment field of study in the world to reveal the effects on Türkiye.
3   3. To demonstrate the effects of the environment in which Atatürk was raised and the environment in which he was raised.
4   4. To understand the emergence of the Anatolian Enlightenment and its results.
