Course Objective

This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge and competency needed in the human resources management of businesses in the tourism sector, which requires labor intensive.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to know the basic features of the workforce needed by the tourism industry.
2   Being able to have an idea about the basic concepts in human resource management.
3   Being able to meet the requirements of the job with the definition and analysis of the job.
4   Being able to managing interviews during the recruitment process, plan in-house orientation, training and motivation activities.
5   Being able to understand and apply the performance appraisal system, to evaluate the work and to manage wages.
