Course Objective

In this course; it is aimed to gain the competences of making the heat treatment on the molding pieces.

Week Subject Description 1 The definition of the heat treatment and its reasons 2 The heat treatment furnace 3 The respond to issues that should be dialed in the heat treatment implementations 4 Hardenability and the surface hardening processes done without changing the composition of the surface. 5 The surface hardening processes done with changing the composition of the surface 6 The surface hardening processes done with changing the composition of the surface 7 Mid-term 8 Mid-term 9 Izoterm T.T.T and consistent C.T.T. diagrams 10 The annealing types done with the help of temperature-time-transformation diagrams. 11 The annealing types 12 The heat treatment implemented to the non-ferrous metals 13 The heat treatment implemented to the steel alloys. 14 The heat treatment implementation in molding materials
