Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to provide students with the ability to make computer-aided two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to use the basic elements of computer-aided drawing and design (CAD)
2   Understand the purpose of drawing and editing commands
3   Establish a relationship between commands and geometry to be drawn
4   To be able to prepare two and three dimensional projects in computer environment
5   To create technical drawing

1 Selecting computer aided drawing options with screen editing and drawing auxiliary commands and using the coordinate system
2 Using drawing commands
3 Using editing commands
4 Using drawing commands
5 Using editing commands
6 Making dimensioning adjustments and using dimensioning commands
7 Making dimensioning adjustments and using dimensioning commands
8 Midterm Exam
9 Changing the properties of drawing elements, changing dimensions, adding surface treatment marks and adding tolerances
10 Add text to drawing
11 Isometric drawing
12 Layer adjustment
13 Using file extensions for 2D (two-dimensional) data transfer
14 Using file extensions for 3D (three-dimensional) data transfer
15 Selecting the printer defined for printing, selecting the paper size to be used for printing and printing
