Course Objective

The main element of the definition of liquid metal mold shaping the mold known as a professional, is the cornerstone of a successful casting. Selecting the product requested by the method of casting, mold design, selected according to the method within the framework of technical information forms the basis of professional success.
In this course, the optimum selection of runner systems, based on solidification maps besleyicini site selection, feeder sizing calculations runner, climber and know the coolant planning. Provides the advantages of a different mold materials to molding applications. Complete molding and casting, planning and organization design are given.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to detect production method of casting and molding method suitable the desired track.
2   To be able to calculate runner, feeder and climber parameters in the mold design
3   To be able to organize mold design and casting according to the desired parts
4   To be able to analyze possible failure of cast iron reviews, technical error
5   To be able to classification according to the advantage and field use of mold materials.
