Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to gain, using the bench lathe, machining the act screws in accordance with the standards and procedures to make a special turning, using the milling machine machining the flat and helical gears on the bench is to gain proficiency.

1 Occupational safety rules on milling machines
2 Milling Machines, types and parts of the milling machine
3 Connecting pocket knife types, pliers and pocket knives to benches
4 Fastening workpieces to benches (vise, bolts and shoes)
5 Clamping workpieces to benches (clamping moulds, divisors)
6 Speed and feed calculations on milling machines
7 Pocket knife selections according to the surface to be processed
8 Midterm Exam
9 Plane face milling (surface scanning)
10 Angle face milling, chamfering
11 Channel and pocket milling
12 Channel and pocket milling
13 Grinding machine, plane surface grinding
14 Grinding machine, plane surface grinding
15 Definition and uses helical gears, helical gears, manufacturing techniques, helical gear calculations, milling knife and select the module, finished gear control with the module conspiracy

2. Workshop apron must be worn in work practices.
3. To comply with machine use and safety regulations is mandatory while working in workshop.
