Course Objective

The aim of this course is; medical terms to introduce basic components such as prefix, suffix. It is also aimed to gain knowledge and skills about the use of terms and words related to anatomy, physiology and pathology according to systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the professional importance of medical terminology
2   To be able to define the components of a medical term
3   Be able to use basic prefix, suffix and combined forms of a medical term
4   Be able to explain the names, locations and functions of major organs according to systems
5   To be able to list the names of common diseases
6   To be able to research on health system and human body on internet
