Course Objective |
This course aims to raise awareness about the outstanding phenomena, movements, personalities, their productions, and different visual production techniques within the modern art and architecture of the 20th century. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
This seminar course will be held on the general discussions through student assignments and presentations, as well as the lectures given by the instructor. Instructor will direct students with relevant information and resources for the student presentations. Courses will be in the form of high-performance presentations and discussions. Students will be encouraged to participate in class discussions. After the group presentations, the topic will be introduced to a general discussion by the instructor. During the semester, students will produce works appropriating different visual production techniques. The produced works of students can be reproduced with the guidance of instructor during the term. At the end of the period, all the works of a student will be submitted as a portfolio. |

Further Notes About Assessment Methods |
Midterm Exam (20%): An exam will be held throughout the semester. This exam covers the reading texts and presentations made during the theoretical part of the course. |
