Course Objective

The course aims to teach the basic principles of project management in the life cycle of the building projects. It includes project construction management, project management knowledge areas (e.g. project integration management, scope management, risk management, quality management, cost management, time/schedule management, resource management,...) and project management processes. In the course, project scope management, project risk management, project quality management, and project time/schedule management are examined in more detail. Also, in this course it is given information about design / architectural management, innovation and technology management, knowledge management and strategy management in building design and construction organizations, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
