Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to give basic information on housing policies as well as comprehensive analysis and shaping techniques for the design of residential areas and to discuss the areas of use of this information in planning studies.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, students will be able to interpret the natural factors affecting the design of residential areas,
2   Will be able to explain the positive and negative situations caused by building layouts,
3   Will be able to calculate the density in residential areas,
4   Will be able to interpret the factors affecting the housing choice of households, will be able to compare the characteristics of housing and housing areas produced with different forms of housing presentation,
5   Will be able to explain housing policies (housing demand, housing deficit, housing problem and housing market).
