Course Objective

This course aims to discuss the basic concepts on demography and various population projection techniques. Upon completion of the course students are expected to be able to use related software for population projection.

1   Students would be able to differentiate the necessary data required for different population projection techniques
2   Students would be able to differentiate the basic assumptions for different population projection techniques
3   Students would be able to apply different population projection techniques with real data
