Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give information about materials and atom structure and its bonding properties, to explain crystal lattice systems, defects and and diffusion mechanisms, to inform about mechanical properties, elastic and plastic deformations and strength increasing mechanisms, to explain productions methods and applicaiton areas of engineering materials.

3   To have the ability drawing plane and directions for cubic lattices
4   To explain crystal defects and perform calculations about diffusion mechanisms
5   To comprehend mechanical properties of engineering materials

7   To have the knowledge about production methods of engineering materials
