Course Objective

The aim of the internship is to provide students information about the work flow of a textile factory, the duties and the role of textile engineers and the opportunity to recognize the methods of operations. The internship period covers 10 days in a textile factory.

2   Ability to gain knowledge about the duties and the roles of textile engineers
3   Ability to gain information about work flow in textile companies
4   Ability to write internship reports with an objective approach

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Obtaining information about the company name, address, establishment date and number of personnel in the company; monitoring all the production stages of the product types being produced in the company and obtaining detailed information about the work flow. Learning the products' names, technical features and usage areas.
2 Learning the duties and positions of textile engineers and doing application studies given by the manager in the company.
