Course Objective

Aim of the lesson is to teach an introductory information for robotic systems to the students. General definitons about robotic components, robot kinematic and motion planning techniques are the main topics. Also, depending on robot usage on textile machinery, Industrial robotic solutions and examples are presented.

1   to inform robotic definitions, types and fundamentals components.
2   To inform sensors and actuators for robotic systems.
3   to remember mathematical aspects of matrix operations.
4   to give 2D and 3D rotation and translation for robot kinematics.
5   to understand robot motion planning schemes.
6   To understand robot programming methods.
7   To inform industrial examples and solutions about textile machinery.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

In this lesson, fundamental knowledge of the students will be improved by the given literature, one homework project completed and, with some practical implementations, will be evaluated.
