Course Objective


The course is primarily a general examination for technical textiles, technical textiles products provide performance characteristics that are important for different uses, and outstanding performance characteristics of each use of the basic test methods for the purpose of disclosure.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Provide general information about technical textiles
2   Learning highlight performance characteristics of technical textiles suitable for different end-uses.
3   Learning test methods for significant performance characteristics of technical textile products
4   Gaining knowledge and ability to evaluate test methods and results, and analysis and comparison.
5   Gaining ability to reach and to use test standards on different test methods.
