Course Objective

The aim of this course is to give detailed information about machines of fundamental processes in textile fnishing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To get information about applicaiton techniques their calculations and machines in textile finishing
2   To get information about application machines
3   To learn the aims of washing, pre-drying and drying treatments and to learn machines of these processes
4   To learn machines of mechanical textile finishing
5   To get information about energy and water conservation in textile finishing

1 Classification of fundamental processes in textile finishing - Applicaiton properties of exhaustion method, calculations and machines
2 Application pproperties of impregnation method, calculation and machines. - Construction and effects of squeezing rolls
3 Fiber and yarn finishing machines (fiber, yarn (skein, bobbin) dyeing machines, fiber washing machines, carbonising machines, yarn singeing machines
4 Technical visit
5 Continue openwide machines systems-printing machines
6 Washing machines
7 Water and chemical conservation in textile finishing treatments
8 midterm
9 Pre-drying processes and machines
10 Drying processes and machines-Differences between woven and knitted fabric systems
11 Energy and heat conservation in textile finishingheat exchenagers etc.
12 Mechanical finishing machines: Systems for cotton and blends (Calenders, sanforization machines, raising machines etc.)
