To give theoretical and practical information about textile dyeing technology

1   To get information about color and chemistry of dyestuffs
2   To learn dyeing methods related to forms of textile materials
3   To learn dyestuffs suitable for chemical structure of fibers
4   To learn dyeing mechanisms of dyestuffs
5   Ability to calculations of dyeing recipes using fundamental dyeing knowledge

1 General information about dyeing. Principles of exhaustion and impregnation techniques
2 Information about color and dyestuffs
3 Dyeing of cellulosic fibers: dyeing with substantive dyestuffs. Lab: Dyeing of cotton fibers with substantive dyestuffs

5 Dyeing with reactive dyestuffs. Vat dyestuffs. Lab: Color trials of cotton fibers when dyeing with substantive dyestuffs
6 Dyeing with sulphur, indigo and pigment dyestuffs -Lab: Dyeing of cotton fibers with reactive dyestuffs
7 Dyeing of wool and silk fibers: Dyeng with acid dyestuffs.
8 1th midterm exam
9 Dyeing of protein fibers with reactive and metal complex dyestuffs
10 Dyeing of Polyamide fibers with acid dyestuffs - Lab: Dyeing of wool and polyamide fibers
11 Dyeing of polyamide fibers with disperse dyestuffs
