Course Objective

To provide basic English knowledge on the definitions and properties of textile raw materials (fibre, yarn, fabric, etc.) and textile products, manufacturing methods, applicaiton areas.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the english terms on textile engineering
2   To be able to comprehend any technical text (machinery manuals, scientific articles, etc.) on textiles
3   To be able to make explanations in English on technical subjects of textiles
4   To be able to prepare any written text on technical subjects related with textiles
5   To learn the vocabulary knowledge of technical terms on textiles
