Course Objective

The course objective is to teach in-situ determining of the engineering properties of soils and rocks. The in-situ tests provide correlation between the datas obtained from the bore holes and laboratory tests.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The recognization of the soil drilling machines
2   Taking disturbed and undisturbed test samples
3   In-situ recognization of engineriing properties of soils and rocks
4   Making comparison of laboratory and in-situ tests, determining correlation
5   Get the ability of performing in-situ tests
