Course Objective

This lecture which is recommended for 1st term of Geophysical Enginnering department programme, intends the begining students of geophysical enginnering to understand basic princibles of geology, main features of earth and the internal and external processes which form the earth crust.

3   To be able to understand the basic working and thinking principles of Geology
4   To be able to determine the rocks
5   To be able to understand the basic internal and external processes forming the earth crust

7   To be able to understand the relationships between geological and geophysical events-structures and occurrences of the natural resources
