Course Objective

According to the Item 16th of the regulations of course contents and applications of the Geophysical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering of the Dokuz Eylül University:
It would contribute towards the comprehensions of the Geophysical Engineering students how to carry out field surveys and how to collect geophysical data as well as interpreting them under the guidance of the Departmental lecturers with the available equipment and means.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to design the problem in the field in the contexts of knowledge being obtained during the courses and applications.
2   To be able to design proper solution plans the problems being described in the field in the contexts of knowledge being obtained during the courses and applications.
3   The ability of utilizing the equipment and gear being selected for the determined desined plan.
4   To be able to check the results of formulated solution problems in the context general physical and mathematical rules.
5   To be able to interpret the checked results together with the geology of the area.
6   To be able to submit as a report in all the procedures towards the solution of the problem as well as using of drawings.
7   To be able to comprehend that learning with utilization of responsibility and initiation is being a continuous affair for the problems going to be faced during profession.
