Course Objective

- To be able to collect seismic field data in the seismic reflection method and their interpretation
- To be able to determine the geomatries of subsurface layers

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to comprehend the properties of seismic data collection set up, seismic source and receivers
2   Be able to collect data in the seismic reflection
3   Be able to learn the concepts of common mid-point technique and folding number
4   Be able to preliminary processing in the seismic reflection
5   Be able to carry out filtering in time and space dimensions
6   Be able to apply the processing steps such as inverse convolution, stacking, migration
