Course Objective

To be able to learn the geophysical applications of the Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   LO1. Be able to learn the concepts of GIS, components, data structures and application fields.
2   LO2. Be able to digitize maps.
3   LO3. Be able to carry out analysis on digitized maps
4   LO4. Be able to get information how to make questioning for dimensional and positioning issues
5   LO5. Be able to bring the studies as images and to gain knowledge about presentation techniques
6   LO6. Be able to prepare project in the context of GIS
