Course Objective

Translations and discussions shall be carried out on the English texts on: Basic academic terminology, business letters, basic mathematical parameters, terminology of general and structural geology, plate tectonics, basic features of the earth, earthquake and introduction to geophysics.

2   To be able to recognize terminology of general and structural geology and geophysics
3   To be able to realize the features of the planet earth, earthquakes and plate tectonics
4   To be able to recognize engineering physics and chemistry terminology

5 Week 5: Eat up. (Questions, Conditionals)
6 Week 6: Congratulations. (Comparatives & Superlatives)
7 Week 7: Festivals and Celebrations (Passive)
8 Week 8: Shy or Social (Modal verbs)
9 Week 9: Here comes the bride. (Relative Clauses)
10 Week 10: Moving on and up. (Conjunctions)
11 Hafta 11: Fundamental Mathematical, Physical and Chemical terminology in Engineering
12 Hafta 12: Introduction to Engineering Physics and Chemistry
