Course Objective

Data analysis and evaluation in engineering. Assessment of probability structures of random variables, assessment of risk and uncertainty, information transfer.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To get knowledge of basic statistics,
2   Using statistical methods, data, calculate basic statistics,
3   Understand the concept of probability, to solve problems based on the probability,
4   To interpret the results of an engineering problem by doing a frequency analysis of the data,
5   By correlation analysis between the two data series, to calculate the linear relationship between them.
