Course Objective

This lecture aims to transfer innovations about the alternative materials used in concrete technology. Students will discuss the usability of new types of concrete ingredients and special production methods within the scope of this course. Finally, modern statistical methods for quality control of concrete will be presented.

Visual presentations and the slides will be given in the course (will be distributed to the students before class to read). The preparation and presentation of homeworks given to each student at the beginning of the term.

Assessment Criteria is mid-term exam and final exam.

Attendance will be considered in the evaluation. Term paper topics will be distributed to students at the beginning of the period, and spelling rules.
