Course Objective |
The context of the course aims to teach the need for water resources management, management objectives and preferences, social, economical, legislative and administrative dimensions of water resources management and its basic concepts and philosophy. Another aim of the course is to teach the students basic aspects of integrated river basin management within the context of system analysis approach utilized since 70 s. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
The main teaching method is the comprehensive explanations of graphical presentations which are uploaded to Lecturer s personal web page. The students are demanded weekly to read and study the available Lecture notes and presentations before their attendance. At the end of the semester two weeks are allocated to students for a role playing game realized at the last week in order to demonstrate a water resources management decision making progress under a given water allocation scenario by the lecturer. |
