Offered to

Environmental Engineering

Course Objective

In this course, it is aimed to determine the load acting on the load-carrying systems, and to calculate the internal force and displacement in statically determinate and indeterminate systems. Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to define the structural system of reinforced concrete structures, to calculate the reinforced concrete according to the section effects under the dead and live loads acting on the structures.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Classification of structural systems and loads
2   To be able to interpret internal forces and displacement analyses and their results
3   Classification of structural material and its mechanical properties.
4   Understanding structural safety and its properties
5   Investigation of structural behavior of reinforced concrete structures.
