Course Objective

The aim of this internship is to get to know the management and organization styles of businesses, to learn the basic areas in which Industrial Engineers can work, and to find solutions to practical problems with the solution techniques learned in theory.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   An ability to model a real-life system via mathematical programming and solve the mentioned problem via a package program, and enable to interpret the results.
2   An ability to simulate a manufacturing or service process; and compare the results of several alternatives of the current system
3   An ability to analyze a manufacturing or service system by constructing material and information flowcharts.
4   An ability to be informed about maintenance planning system in facility.
