Course Objective

The aim of this course is for students to define the problem they will address in their graduation project, conduct literature research on the project topic, create the theoretical background of their project, prepare a report summarizing the work done, and make a presentation to the thesis jury at the end of the semester.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to identify the problem to be addressed in the project with realistic constraints and conditions
2   To be able access the necessary information to solve the problem subject to the project
3   To be able to Identify appropriate solution approaches
4   To be able to determine the necessary conditions and standards for engineering design within the framework of ethical rules
5   To be able to conduct individual research and/or gain teamwork experience by working in group
6   To be able to present the project preparation work effectively in written and oral form
