Course Objective

The aim of this course is to design and implement quality planning, control and improvement processes in production, with the help of statistical process control techniques and comprehensive statistical knowledge, taking into account technological developments. Therefore, it is to increase students' engineering and management skills.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To equip students with knowledge of quality and total quality management in relation to the design and implementation of quality planning, control and improvement processes in production
2   To equip students with knowledge of statistical process control
3   To equip students with knowledge of the use, application and interpretation of standard acceptance sampling
4   To equip students with knowledge of the use, application and interpretation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) - Control Cards
5   To equip students with knowledge of process improvement
6   To equip students with knowledge of creating a design of experiment
