Course Objective

To provide information about financial management, financial markets, financial assets, financial decision process and risks in this process, to explain basic financial statements and their importance in financial management, to ensure understanding of financial analysis, financial planning and budgeting.

1   Ability to define financial management and related concepts
2   Ability to define the financial sector, financial markets and financial assets and understand their functions and importance
3   Having knowledge about the financial decision process and the risks in this process
4   Ability to explain basic financial statements and their importance in financial management
5   Having knowledge about financial analysis and being able to perform financial analysis using ratio analysis
6   Understanding and realizing financial planning and budgeting
