Course Objective

The aim of this course is to inform Industrial Engineering students about basic automation concepts and to make simple applications.

1 Introducing the laboratory and LEGO pieces, creating study groups
2 Disruption of systems designed in the previous period and classification of parts into groups
3 Group work to determine the project to be prepared
4 Beginning of the work on the determined project and delivery of the preliminary report introducing the project
5 Introduction of LEGO engines, Group work on the project (1)
6 Introduction of LEGO sensors, Group work on the project (2)
7 WAIT, LOOP, SWITCH examples, Group work on the project (3)
8 Using variables and matrices, Group work on the project (4)
9 BlueTooth connection, Group work on the project (5)

11 Mid term Exam.
