Course Objective

In this course students are expected to conduct the reseach and development that they will have propose at the firs semenster. They are required to design a hardware and/or software component in order to solve a well defined engineering problem using the tools obtained in electrical engineering training. The results have to be represented by thesis that will be defended oraly in fornt of a jury of three.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to design a hardware and/or a software component given the constraints
2   To implement a prototype as proof of concept
3   To be able to acquire and use knowledge on engineering standarts related to the project
4   To be be able to design necessary experiments (computer simulations, laboratory setups) in order to validate the design and implementation
5   To be able to interpret the data and results in scientific manner
6   To be able to make decisions to optimize, redesign, revalidate the design and the prototype if necessary changes based on technical data.
7   To be able to represent the results of the research both in written and oral forms
