Course Objective

The aim is to teach; i) the components of a landfill, ii) how to obtain these cvomponents, iii) how to make material selection for the landfill area, iv) information on the landfişll area and technicalla draw it v)information on major costs

2   Can foresee the landfill volume and determine its location
3   Can calculate the area of a landfill and its components according to the current and future needs
4   Can compare the material types used in landfills, make investigations
5   Can plan and desingn a landfill area according to the needs and fundemental information
6   Can determine the appropriate landfill technique according to the properties of the area and land
