Course Objective

To learn the basic concepts and methods for pump selection and installation, to have knowledge about the design criteria of pump systems for easy operation and maintenance, to design water, wastewater and sludge pumping systems.

1   to express basic concepts of the pump characteristics and application areas
2   To explain the methods for the selection of the pump.
3   To explain the methods of parallel and series connected pumps.
4   To use methods for effective usage and design
5   To discuss the results.
