Course Objective

Based on the reason for the existence of the state in the economy from the past to the present location and the different aspects of the role and forms of state intervention in the economy to offer.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defining the public economy, to distinguish the difference between the market economy and public economy.
2   to explain the reasons of why the government in economy with inefficiencies in the context of the market economy
3   to sort out the Types of state intervention in the economy and specify the differences between them.
4   Illustrate what kind of state goods and services produced.
5   Interpret the function of the State to produce goods and services
6   Defining the concept of privatization and sorting the reasons for the different aspects (economic, financial, social, etc.).
7   explaining the reasons and methods to interpret the main privatization process in the World and Türkiye.
8   sort the data by querying of the advantages and disadvantages of privatization
