Course Objective

: Teaching the philosophical foundations of EU and its of for what objectives the Union founded and compare EU with other integrations and find out differences among them.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define the birth of EU idea, its substructure and the process of historical change
2   Be able to diagnose the financial structure of EU
3   Be able to explain the EU expenditures-incomes and especially equity system concept with samples.
4   Be able to analyze the reason and outcome of financial funds provided to member, candidate and potential candidate countries by EU
5   .Be able to determine why EU can not succeed to have a harmonization of fiscal policies and especially in tax policies.
6   Be able to evaluate the EU-Turkey relations within the context of historical, economical and financial perspective
7   Be able to find out what kind of an integration EU is by having a comparison in terms of financial and other aspects.
