Course Objective

Nowadays, computer and software is comonly used in earth science and these software help earth scientists. This course will inform to students about computer aided software and it's usage area.

3   Able to digitizing morphological fiel data
4   Able to collecting field data and inserting computer software
5   Able to creating field model using field data

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 The working principle of computer aided software and it's usage are in earth sciences.
2 Preparing digital data to use for computer aieded software.
3 Field data will be given and each group will digitize field data and prepare data base .
4 each group will digitize field data and prepare data base .
5 The presentation will be carried out about digitized field data and data base
6 Preparing 3D model of field will be mentioned
7 application study will be carried out about Preparing 3D model
8 Groups will present and discuss their work about the results of project
9 Lecturer will carry out presentation to fix student's errors.
10 Lecturer will carry out presentation about preparing data base using field data.
11 Each group will prepare data base using digitized drill hole data.
12 Lecturer will carry out presentation about preparing geological model of study field.
13 Each group will prepare their geological model.
14 Each group will prepare their geological model.
