Course Objective

1. To introduce and use Linux systems to users who have no experience before,
2. To introduce interfaces, details of user interfaces at the end-user level, and development of basic level skills for terminal usage,
3. To develop basic skills for using open-source office tools

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know free software philosophy
2   To have basic knowledge of Linux and Pardus operating systems
3   To be able to use the advanced terminal
4   To have an understanding of LibreOffice
5   To be able to use LibreOffice Calc and LibreOffice Impress tools

9 Introduction to Libreoffice
10 Creating documents with LibreOffice Writer

12 Working with spreadsheets with LibreOffice Calc
13 Creating presentations with LibreOffice Impress
14 Other applications in LibreOffice & review of the topics
