Course Objective

It is aimed to analyse basic factors affecting Turkish foreign policy in terms of historical, sociological, cultural scope and to give current tendencies by evaluating Turkish foreign policy in chorological process

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Definition of foreign policy
2   Being able to array differences and similarities between foreign policy of Ottoman and post- Republic of Turkey
3   Being able to determine organizational structure of Republic of Turkey- Ministery of Foreign Affairs
4   Being able to explain basic problems of Turkish foreign policy
5   Being able to evaluate Lausanne, Montreux and Ankara Agreement which take a serious role for Turkish foreign policy.
