Course Objective

The general objective of this course is to make student have information about crime and sentencing theories of Turkish Criminal Law.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to associate the institutions of criminal law with the general principles of criminal law.
2   Being able to describe the elements of crime.
3   Being able to ascertain the relation of casualty in the present case.
4   Being able to explain the reasons for lawfulness.
5   Being able to define the attempt, jointly committed offences.
6   Being able to explain the causes which remove culpability.
7   Being able to distinguish between the reasons for lawfulness and the reasons that affect culpability.
8   Being able to generally explain the sentencing theory.
