Course Objective

To inform students about the legal rules and procedures in order to ensure supremacy of the Constitution.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to analyze the theories of the separation of powers and the supremacy of the constitution.
2   Being able to determine the Constitutional Court s role in democracies
3   Being able to determine the structure of the Constitutional Court
4   Being able to distinguish between concrete and abstract review
5   Being able to put forward the norms which are subject to constitutional review
6   Being able to determine the legal regime of constitutional complaint
7   Being able to discuss the legal effects of the decisions of the Constitutional Court.
