Course Objective

It is aimed to teach ideas about political power by analysing environmental and class factors from emergence of absolute monarchies until end of the 19th Century.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to put in order the causes that affected emergence of the absolute monarchies.
2   Being able to put in order the reasons of why bourgeoisie class take back the support depending on its own benefits from absolute monarchies.
3   Being able to remark the development of political thought in the Age of Enlightenment and approaches of the prominent thinkers.
4   Being able to discuss the fundamentals of the socialist, liberal and nationalist thoughts.
5   Being able to remark the based opinions of thinkers who lived in this era
