Course Objective

Introduce students the phenomenon of administrative reform as part of a broader framework of change.
Discuss the outcomes of administrative reforms within the context of developing countries.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to make a judgment about the degree to which Turkish public administration is affected by developments in the world
2   Ability to explain reforms with examples
3   To be able to compare pre-reform and post-reform Turkish Public Administration and discuss their differences.
4   Ability to make comments on the change in the Turkish public bureaucracy
5   Being able to make a judgment about the degree to which Turkish public administration is affected by developments in the world
