Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to teach best statistical tecniques for production process and to create awareness about basic quality consepts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand the consept of qulity
2   To be able to assess the quality level of a produced lot by using acceptance sampling methods.
3   To be able to evaluate the reability of measurement system that will be used during quality improvements.
4   To be able to understand the tecniques that can bu used to improve production process and to understand the usage of statistical process control.
5   To be able to understand the methods that can be used for improving the quality of a product during the design phase.
6   To be able to interpret the quality of a process by using appropriate statistical tools.

5 Operating characteristic curve and average run length
6 CUSUM Control Charts, Process capability index (Cp ve Cpk indices)
7 Process capability index (Cpm, Cpl ve Cpu indices)

10 Measurement system analysis (deviation analysis, R & R works)
11 Acceptance Sampling
12 Developed standarts for acceptance sampling
13 Experimental desing for quality
14 Process modeling and optimization using analysis of variance.
