Course Objective

It is aimed to form a basis for individual labor law and collective labor law lessons which will be lectured as later semester trainings by analysing all kind of the employment and work contracts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to examine the properties of the relations organised under the genel title of employment and work contracts.
2   Being able to know the differences between the employment contract and other work contracts.
3   Being able to analyze the conditions and provisions of the employment and work contracts.
4   Being able to determine the differences between employement and work contracts regulated in Turkish Labor Code and employement contact regulated in Labor Code.
5   Being able to analyze a juridical case and apply rules learned during the classes to solve the case.
6   Being able to follow and analyze the legislative modifications.

1 Specifying the types of employment and work contracts in general,identifying the characteristics of the employment and work contracts
2 Concept of the mixed and sui generis (specific) contracts
3 The effect of the mixed and specific contracts on labor law
4 Contract examples: employment contracts covering housing, employee attorneys' contracts, ordinary bussiness contracts in which labor accepted as capital.
5 Work chain contracts
6 Floating- work times regulated in service contracts and employment contracts
7 Employement chain contracts

10 Elements of home-based service contract
11 Elements of salesmanship contract
12 whistleblowing of th employee in employement agreements

14 Orientation: Analysis of the effects of the untitled contracts on Labor law with practising contract examples
