Course Objective

It is aimed to teach the students working times and rest breaks, the termination of the employment contract of the privileged employees (such as disabled , women , children employees), the consequences of the termination of the employment contract and help them to adapt these rules in their working life.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to define working times and overtime work rules in working life.
2   Being able to comprehend rest break rights in working life.
3   Being able to define the types of the termination of employment contracts with rights and obligations.
4   Being able to comprehend types and conditions of compensations in Labor Law
5   Being able to analyze the employee's profit from job security rules according to legal aspect
6   Being able to write a simply petition appropriate to the legal content related to the labor law matters

5 Termination of the employment contract for valid cause
6 Benefit from the job security, reinstatement and its consequences
7 Termination of the employment contract for just cause by the employee and its consequences
8 Termination of the employment contract for just cause by the employer and its consequences
9 Consequences of the termination of the employment contract
10 Entitlement to severance pay and payment
11 Releases of debt given by an employee and responsibility of the new employer
12 Orientation and case practices: Assessment Supreme Court decisions and practices for writing simply petition
13 Final Exam
