Course Objective

This course aims to ensure that students know the multidiscipline and interdisciplinary character of social politics, associate the development of social politics to social change process, and realise the parties contribute to policy-making and the methods of policy-making.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To describe the capitalist economic system and the social problem
2   To recognise social politics is not limited with the protection of the most vulnerable people
3   To demonstrate the development of social politics in economic/technological, social, politic/ideological and legal contexts
4   To analyse social problems
5   To analyse social problems by taking into consideration Türkiye and other countries
6   to argue the role of social politics for achieving full employment and social justice.
